In this test, we compare 3 types of invoice processing using 25 sample invoices:

Battle #1: Lisa without support

Completely manual invoice processing: All values ​​first have to be located and then typed from the document into the form.

Even after the first few invoices, maintaining concentration became a problem. Constantly searching documents for specific values ​​with full attention and then typing them character by character is quite demanding.

The total time for this manual invoice processing was 20 minutes and 28 seconds in our measurement, resulting in an average time of 49 seconds per invoice. So, rest in peace, manual invoice processing!

Battle #2: BLU DELTA detected, Lisa checks

Pre-entered values: All values ​​identified by the AI ​​are automatically entered into the form; any missing or incorrect values ​​are added by the employee.

The pre-entered values ​​were a huge help, and the complete processing of all 25 invoices felt at least twice as fast.

This method of document processing took a total of only 6 minutes and 26 seconds, which translates to 15 seconds per invoice—three times faster than manual entry alone!

Battle #3: BLU DELTA is working, Lisa is taking a break.

Fully automated: Invoices identified with a sufficient score are no longer displayed to the employee but processed directly. Missing or incorrect values ​​are then corrected manually.

All invoices were processed in a fraction of the original time, as most were no longer even suggested for further review or correction.

Thanks to BLUDELTA’s fully automated document processing, a total processing time of 3 minutes and 55 seconds was achieved, resulting in an unbeatable average of 9 seconds per invoice. That’s five times faster than manual invoice entry!

Even with semi-automated data capture using artificial intelligence and the pre-filled values, you save a significant amount of time and effort.

Fully automated processing saves even more time, as documents that are correctly identified are no longer suggested for review.
