domonda develops a platform for digital document management, invoice approval workflows and preparatory accounting processes for mid-sized companies. The goal was to reduce manual processing steps within pre-accounting workflows and handle straightforward booking cases more efficiently.

At the same time, a wide range of invoice formats had to be processed in a structured and consistent way to support downstream systems and processes.

Invoices vary significantly in structure, content and quality. Different layouts and a high degree of variation further complicate consistent processing.

To automate accounting workflows efficiently, relevant information must be identified reliably, structured consistently and prepared for downstream processes. At the same time, the solution needed to integrate flexibly into existing platform and workflow environments.

domonda integrates bluDELTA to structure and process incoming invoices within its own platform. Relevant invoice information is automatically identified, extracted and provided as system-ready data for downstream processes.

This enables straightforward booking cases to be prepared more efficiently while reducing manual processing effort. At the same time, processing times are shortened and employees are relieved in day-to-day document handling.

The project demonstrates how AI-supported document processing can meaningfully enhance existing accounting and workflow processes without replacing established systems.
