Initial Situation
The IT subsidiary of a large German tax advisory group operates a platform for the automated processing of invoices and accounting documents. The goal was to reduce manual effort within accounting preparation workflows and enable a high level of automation across multiple firms and corporate clients.
At the same time, large document volumes needed to be processed reliably while existing workflows had to be expanded in a scalable and internationally deployable way.

Challenge
Processing large volumes of different invoice and accounting documents creates high demands on data quality, stability and scalability. Different document structures, international requirements and high processing volumes further complicate consistent handling.
Beyond extracting information itself, the structured preparation of automated accounting workflows was a key requirement. At the same time, the solution needed to operate in a controlled manner within existing IT and security environments.
Solution and Result
bluDELTA was integrated into the existing platform and handles the structured processing of incoming and outgoing invoices. Relevant information is automatically identified, extracted and provided as system-ready data for downstream workflows.
In addition, the solution supports the preparation of automated booking proposals through the structured assignment of relevant document data. This reduced manual processing effort and enabled the automation rate to improve continuously.
The solution was also expanded to support international requirements and operated as an on-premises deployment within the existing infrastructure.
