Initial Situation
Insurance companies process large volumes of claims-related documents every day across areas such as automotive, healthcare and housing. These documents vary significantly in structure, content and quality, yet still need to be processed quickly and consistently.
The goal of the project was to further automate the handling of incoming claims documents and establish the foundation for more efficient claims processing workflows.

Through the integration, recognition rates were improved and the potential for more highly automated claims workflows was demonstrated. At the same time, processing times can be reduced and manual processing steps minimized.
